Wedding/Fancy Cakes

Fall Fountain Wedding Cake
This Fall-themed wedding cake is done in ivory fondant with gumpaste leaves and acorns (the leaves and acorns were designed to coordinate with the wedding invitations). The three tiers (16", 12", and 8" cakes) are separated by Grecian Pillars and set above an elegant fountain surrounded by tall Roman columns and roses.
Serves approximately 180.

A Prayer of Faith
This was made for my nephew's baptism, but is simple and beautiful enough for a wedding as well.
It is a 3-tiered (10", 8", 6"), fondant covered cake with satin ribbon borders and a chocolate fondant ribbon base. Topped with a Willow Tree 'Prayer' Angel. Serves approximately 74.

Wedding Cupcake Tower
This was made for a wedding Open House.
The top 'tier' is a real cake and the other faux tiers are boxes covered in fabric to match the bride's colors. Each tier has cupcakes around the perimeter.
Wedding cupcakes are becoming increasingly popular because 1) they are very convenient to serve (no plates or forks necessary), 2) you don't have to cut up your gorgeous wedding cake in order to serve your guests, and 3) they tend to be a whole lot more affordable.

Groom's Cake
This is all done in fondant. Chocolate fondant covers the 8" 2-layer cake with mini fondant roses on top, fondant beads around the bottom, and a fondant covered base. Simple and elegant.
Serves approximately 24.

Ring Around the Rosettes

This is an 8" round cake with buttercream frosting, filling and decorations. Serves approximately 20.
